2024 Spring RPS: All You Need To Know

April 28, 2024

The NLC Regional Promotion Series (RPS) is back this Spring and is set to kick off on Monday, May 6.

Before the show starts, let's walk through all the practical information about the tournament so you are completely up to date.

Teams & Format

Just like our last RPS, the tournament will consist of the two best teams from each national league (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, UK & Ireland), the two best teams from the NLC ladder, and the two bottom-placed teams from the latest NLC Division 2 split.

For those who followed last year's RPS tournament, this year will have the exact same format.

The competition is separated into two stages. The first is a group stage consisting of two groups with six teams in each. Each group will play a single round-robin of bo1s, and at the end of it half the teams will qualify to the next stage.

The second stage is an eight-team single-elimination bracket where the quarterfinals are bo3s, and the semifinals and the final are bo5s. The NLC Division 2 teams will join the tournament in the second stage. The two teams that finish at the top of the RPS will see themselves promote to NLC Division 2.

Find all teams through the announcements on Twitter/X leading up to the start of the tournament.
